Chingiz Aitmatov: a bridge of trust and friendship between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan

On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the birth of Chingiz Aitmatov, a scientific-practical conference was held at the National University of Uzbekistan on the topic "Chingiz Aitmatov: a bridge of trust and friendship between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan".

Within the framework of this conference, the presentation of the book entitled "Dear Son of Two Countries" prepared on the basis of published articles, photographs, official and archival materials and comments on the life and work of Chingiz Aytmatov was held.

University leadership, representatives of foreign organizations, professors and teachers of the Faculty of Journalism, and representatives of mass media took part in the conference organized in cooperation with a number of organizations.
