Sahibkiron Amir Temur - a symbol of justice and power

Sahibkiran Amir Temur is one of the great figures who has been giving spiritual strength to our people in the glorious work of restoring our national traditions and values. Amir Temur‘s motto "Justice is not in power, power is in justice" has become a moral and spiritual criterion in all regions of the Timurid kingdom.

Such justice-based procedures have ensured peace and tranquility in the country, encouraged people to work honestly, live in the spirit of entrepreneurship and creativity. This year marks the 685th anniversary of the birth of our great-grandfather Amir Temur. In connection with this date, spiritual-enlightenment, scientific conferences, roundtables with Temurologists are being held in all regions of the country.




In particular, on April 6 this year at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek in collaboration with the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment on the occasion of the 685th anniversary of the great commander, great statesman, Sahibkiran Amir Temur held a scientific-educational seminar " conference was organized.

Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Dilorom Yusupova, Director of the State Museum of the History of the Temurids of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Khurshid Fayziev, Poet Sayyora Toychiyeva, Temurologist Khakim Sattorov, People‘s Artist of Uzbekistan Tesha Muminov, university professors and students.

The conference was opened by the rector of the National University of Uzbekistan, Professor Inomjon Madjidov.  

- To understand the personality of Amir Temur is to understand history, - says the rector of the university, Professor Inomjon Madjidov. - The second half of the XIV century is a period of rich historical and social lessons in the history of our country in the XV century.

In this region, under the leadership of Amir Temur, a centralized, strong and independent state was formed under a single flag. Undoubtedly, the merits of Amir Temur in this historical process in the life of the peoples of Central Asia are great.




Speaking at the conference, the head of the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment Minhojiddin Mirzo Sahibkiran spoke about the large-scale reforms carried out during the years of independence to immortalize the bright memory of our ancestor. I believe that the regular organization of international scientific conferences in cooperation with many foreign countries is, first of all, a great respect and great attention to our great-grandfather Amir Temur and the people of Uzbekistan, - said Minhojiddin Mirzo.

Indeed, during the years of independence, works, articles and many other publications about the life and work of Amir Temur, such as "Temur‘s Statutes", "Zafarnoma" were published in several languages. Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Dilorom Yusupova, Director of the State Museum of the History of the Temurids of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Khurshid Fayziyev, Temurologist Khakim Sattorov and poet Sayyora Toychiyeva also noted this.

People‘s Artist of Uzbekistan Tesha Muminov proudly told the conference participants about the hard life of Amir Temur, his vast experience in governing the great country, his vision, his role in the comprehensive development of the Temurid state - the future of New Uzbekistan.

- Amir Temur paid great attention to the development of such fields of science as mathematics, handasa, architecture, astronomy, literature, history, music, recalling the words of the French scientist Liangle about his conversations with masters: “Temur was a gift to scientists. Along with his knowledge, he trusted those who saw his innocence. He often came down from the throne and came to them to talk to historians, philosophers, as well as all those who were talented in science, office, and other matters. Because Alisher focused on taking care of these areas, ”Alisher Navoi also liked Amir Temur‘s care for the people of science and spirituality. Navoi said: "Wherever Timur met people of science, culture and art, he would take them under his patronage, show them respect, pay attention to their upbringing, and use them as nadim (advisers) and other positions in his parliament."

At the end of the scientific-educational conference dedicated to the 685th anniversary of Amir Temur, the participants and students made a number of suggestions for further research and further study of the life and reforms of Sahibkiran Amir Temur.
