Discussion of perspective tasks in an online meeting

In order to strengthen promising cooperation, an online meeting was held on 6 May this year between the National University of Uzbekistan and the Belarusian State University to discuss current issues of cooperation and the current state of implementation of mutual agreements in priority areas. The meeting was attended by rectors of the two universities Inom Madjidov and Andrey Korol, as well as vice-rectors and deans.

As previously reported, in February 2021, the universities signed a memorandum of understanding. At the meeting, talks were held on redefining the work to be done in the framework of cooperation, appointing officials and their gradual implementation. In the online video-conference, specific tasks were identified, mainly on the following issues:

1. Joint educational program of NUU and BSU in the field of aerospace technology;

2. Anniversary number of co-authored textbooks;

3. Joint organization of youth events and research projects;

4. Exchange of experience in the international rankings;

5. Establishment of a joint educational program in the specialty "Chemistry of Medicinal Compounds".

At the end of the conversation, the parties stressed their mutual commitment to the implementation of all agreements reached, as well as the urgency and effectiveness of regular negotiations to quickly agree on emerging issues and develop new areas of cooperation.
