On January 6, 2020, Professor Ronnie Heine, a regional representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan visited NUUz.

From 16 till 20 of September, there was held a regular session of project UNICAC with the help of Erasmus+ on the topic of “WP2 Human Capacity Building – 1^st Training Module “International Cooperation Agreements and Networks and Funding Opportunities” at the Institute of Economics and Trade of Tajik State University of commerce in Khujand.

Today the president of the Chinese Sciences Academy delegation headed by  Bai Chunli has visited the National University of Uzbekistan. Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan Avazjon Marakhimov has received the delegation. 

A training seminar organized by the British Council was held on 22-24 November, 2018 at the National University named after Mirzo Ulugbek The aim of the training seminar was to introduce the Universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the functions of the Professional Development Center (PDC), which started its work in 27 Universities of Uzbekistan. Teachers have been trained functions and the role of the head of the PDC in the educational process. At the end of the training seminar, the British Council provided materials in the form of books, textbooks and audio-video resources for the further development of the PDC.
