An international conference on “Integration in modern geographical studies: problems and solutions” was held

Yesterday, the Faculty of Geography and Geoinformation Systems of the National University of Uzbekistan hosted an international scientific and practical conference on the topic "Integration in Modern Geographical Research: Problems and Solutions".

This conference, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Professor of the Department of Natural Geography Nailya Sabitova, was devoted to modern and current theoretical and practical issues of our science, the processes of integrating geography with other sciences.

The conference discussed the integration of modern geographical research in Uzbekistan and abroad, their problems and solutions, new modern methods, innovations, future prospects and problems implemented in geographical research.

The conference was attended by more than 30 foreigners (Russia, the Republic of Belarus, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan), about 100 local scientists, researchers and students.

The conference was opened by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation E. Ergashov. The Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Geoinformation Systems Sh. Sharipov and the Head of the Department of Natural Geography K. Khakimov continued in a cheerful spirit
